Last month in mid-February, Kevin Hart joined other speakers at the Advertising Week Africa (#AWAfrica) in Johannesburg, South Africa. He was amongst a list of influential marketers and cultural tastemakers expressing thoughts on the vibrant African creative sector in their own right.

Advertising Week to date is the world’s largest annual gathering of marketing, media, and technology leaders, in Africa and took place in February partnering with Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat production.

Kevin Hart took to the floor to explain the fear he had prior to visiting South Africa. “All I know is what the news said, I’m not trying to go over there and get kidnapped” Kevin Hart express his thought prior to accepting his travel gig in the country. He continued “And then I go and I see an amazing city and we were blown away”.
