She embarked on a journey to Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Empire, to attend the first Akwasidae (Sunday) ceremony at Manhyia Palace alongside the revered King, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Asantehene. Recognized as one of the most influential kings in West Africa, he commands respect across the entire continent. The Ashanti tribe, known for their fierce warrior heritage, donned original kente cloth, symbolizing dense woven fabric associated with royalty and nobility.

Bozoma Saint John graced the occasion in a breathtaking off-shoulder Kente outfit skillfully crafted by Mimmy Yeboah fashion. The ensemble featured a peplum top adorned with off-shoulder yellow scuba fabric sleeves and a fish-tail maxi pencil skirt. Completing the look were stunning gold earrings and a woven fan, all meticulously designed by Ghanaian fashion maestro Mimi Yeboah.
