Alecia Morais Beats Vanny Reis To The Fashion Awards At Best Of The Year Awards

Alecia Morais has no doubt made a name for herself, a young girl who has walked the runways of the biggest international designers both in Cape Verde and Europe, walked home with the Fashion Award at the Cape Verde’s Best Of The Year Awards 2015 (In Cape Verde).

Alecia Morais, potentially one of Africa’s best models was groomed, trained, and is also managed by Vanny Reis under Vaiss Model Management, former Miss West Africa International beauty queen. Not only was Alecia Morais groomed by top model Vanny, but Vanny also happens to be one of the leading figures when it comes to event organizing and shedding international light on Cape Verde fashion.

The twist of events was enlightening with Vanny Reis taking to facebook and posting the following picture below with the caption ‘Juntos somos mais fortes!’ which means ‘Together We Are Stronger’.

The event was a fabulous night with stars and celebrities in attendance, hopefully in the following years the fashion awards could be divided into two ie. A Model awards and the fashion mogul award, because both the two beauties deserves it. And if you will like to know who was behind Vanny’s dress, it was non other than Cindy Monteirio.

In December 2013, 15 year old Alecia Morais left the Elite Model Search competition in China in the top 15 and also with the title as Africa’s best. Since then she has been back and forth from Cape Verde, Angola and Paris and walking for Paris Fashion Week and Milan Fashion Week, Gucci, Elisabette Franchi, Kristina, Gabriele Colangelo, Au Jou Le Jour and others, to name a few. We congratulate her on her new found success and award.
