Mercedes-Benz Partners with Ghana Fashion & Design Week For 2015 Show

Accra, (10 August, 2015)  – Ghana Fashion & Design Week is pleased to welcome Mercedes-Benz as a partner to the annual event this year. Synonymous with Fashion and Design innovation, renowned luxury Car brand – Mercedes-Benz partners with Ghana Fashion & Design Week for the first time at this year GFDW 2015 event, supported by Silver Star Auto Ltd. Ghana, who are the sole and leading agent of the luxury car brand in Ghana.

 

Mercedes-Benz is well known for its unique alignment with Fashion Weeks on the global fashion landscape, and the only Automobile brand significantly at the forefront of creative development support of local and international fashion business platforms, laying focus on, and promoting emerging new design talents. As the world’s first automaker, design innovation remains at the centre of Mercedes-Benz luxury cars unique engineering pioneered by its inventor Carl Benz.

The team is honoured to have the support of Silver Star Auto Ltd. (SSAL) Ghana, who shares in our innovative ideas and vision for creative industry and talent development through design education and entrepreneurship for social and economic inclusion.

2014 Fashion Design graduate of Radford University College (RUC) in Accra, AfuaBiney has already been a beneficiary of SSAL – Silver Star Award of Excellence, as the best fashion design graduate in her year. Afua, who has been under guidance and development support since 2014 at the New Talent Spot™ initiative space, will reveal her premiere collection at the event this year. 3 new best fashion design 2015 graduate talents from Radford University will join Afua at the initiative space.
