Ghanaian Designer’s Outfit Hits Oscars Red Carpet On Hollywood Actress Naomie Harris

Naomie Harris hits the red carpet at the 2013 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre yesterday (February 24) in Hollywood with a gown designed by Ghana-born Michael Badger, the winner of the Red Carpet Green Dress Challenge. The floor-length number featured recycled zippers, vintage glass beads, and detailing made of chocolate candy wrappers

Naomie tweeted “My #Oscar dress took 120 hours to make, dyed with camomile and goldenrod, hand-embroidered with vintage beads and chocolate wrappers!”

The 36-year-old actress was there to support her latest film Skyfall, which is up for five awards.
