We’ve seen Actress Lupita Nyong’o in some of the best red carpet looks of all time! That’s why as the 76th Golden Globe Awards ceremony drew closer, we all wondered what the Kenyan star would be rocking for the high-octane event especially as she was the host.

Not one to disappoint Lupita exceeded our expectations in a custom cobalt blue chain fringed dress with silver drop beads from Calvin Klein by appointment – now that’s how to show up to host the Golden Globes! Full disclosure, more than 20,000 silver metal beads and 35,000 chains were hand-stitched and tailor-made for this look – according to CK’s Instagram page.

Undoubtedly one of the best looks of the night, her glam team including Stylist Micaela Erlanger, Makeup Artist Nick Barose and Hairstylist Vernon François went to great lengths to perfect her ensemble for the night.

She donned a dewy beauty look with eccentric blue eyelashes and blue liner also drawn on the bottom lash line and added a rusty red matte lipstick for that extra pop of colour. While Vernon did a puffy ponytail hairstyle that was twisted at the back with blue strings.

Lupita’s look for the night was completed with shimmering Bulgari jewelry and comfy Aldoplatform sandals.
