Accra Fashion Week Set To Amaze Viewers This December With A Virtual Runway Revoluton In Ghana

This year, Accra Fashion Week broke the record to be Ghana’s first event to stream over 2million views on youtube (as seen at https://www.youtube.com/c/AccraFashionWeek/about) placing it in the best position for what is to come this December!

Due to the pandemic and city lockdown, Accra Fashion Week Chilly Rainy in March was cancelled with dates postponed to 10-13th December 2020, for a session dubbed VIRTUAL REALITY.

The event is still set to hold as normal with a prestige set of guests in attendance, however, it will also be streamed live across the Accra Fashion Week’s youtube page with 10,000 subscribers, as well as via FashionGHANA.com on Facebook with 1 million followers.

Despite the beautiful ambiance that will be set for the guests at an undisclosed location in Airport City, Accra, the virtual audience watching from around the world may just be treated to a beautiful surprise via edits.

The event will kick off from Thursday with a semi-final show of the Kimimi Designer Fabric competition. Followed by Friday with the welcome party x Face of Accra Fashion Week 2020 Semi-Finals, before the main runway events on Saturday & Sunday.

The virtual reality will set its path to open a new e-commerce approach to runway fashion & Design activities utilizing the online shopping space on the Accra Fashion Week website at www.AccraFashionWeek.org/boutique
