Get Ready! Africa Sourcing & Fashion Week 2021 (ASFW) Returns To Ethiopia This December!

6th AFRICA SOURCING AND FASHION WEEK (ASFW) will open doors from 3rd until 6th December 2021 to the entire cotton, textile, apparel, leather, technology, and home décor industry incl. wholesale, retail, boutique stores, and the hospitality industry.

Over 250 international manufacturers and exporters from 25 countries will showcase their products and innovations to over 5.000 trade professionals and the sourcing industries from around the world. Despite Covid, ASFW has filled its halls again.

BEYOND EAST AFRICA

ASFW 2021 is not only a platform for manufacturers from the East African region but for manufacturers from the entire African continent. For the first time at ASFW, government pavilions from Turkey and Nigeria will present their expertise and products to international & African buyers and counterparts. Further country pavilions are from Kenya, Portugal, Germany, and South Africa. An Ethiopian pavilion will showcase in collaboration with GIZ, ETGAMA, and ETIDI.

The unique WALK FOR BUSINESS project will connect more than 25 high-end African designers from South, West
and East Africa with international buyers and fashion brands for future collaboration.

Known as Africa´s only trade show for technology, ASFW offers a big machine platform for the production of clothing, textiles as well as dyeing, and finishing incl. suppliers of chemicals.

ASFW consists of textile, apparel, technology, leather, footwear, and home décor, and fashion design.

Textile, apparel, and technology will be presented though Texworld Addis Abeba, Apparel Sourcing Addis Abeba, and Texprocess Addis Abeba.

The 6th ASFW CONFERENCE will concentrate on “UN Sustainable Development Goals” as well as “Africa Continental Free Trade Area”. Important Partners e.g. GIZ, UNIDO, EU, JICA, as well as some government authorities, will contribute to the important know-how transfer.

AFRICA SOURCING AND FASHION WEEK is organized in partnership with Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH, Eth
Ministry of Trade & Industry, Ethiopia Textile Development Institute (ETIDI) and Ethiopia Textile and Garment Manufacturers Association (ETGAMA).

Organizers are TRADE AND FAIRS GROUP based in Germany and Kenya.
