African Themed Fashion Dominates At Black Panther Movie Premiere

Black Panther Movie Premiere was a big deal as expectations were heightened prior to the release of the movie. The Marvel’s film that gained so much attention was one of its kind. The movie was based on a Superhero of African descent, who returns home to Wakanda, in North Africa, after the death of  his father.

The striking feature of the premiere was how almost all costumes worn to the event were African, making it hard to believe that it actually took place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

There were lots of African costumes which included of course ankara print, batakari, kaftan and angelina also known as dashiki among others.

Everyone embraced African culture as they celebrated the first black Superhero. Hopefully, there’ll be more of its kind in years to come.
