Ara Wilson is a young fashion illustrator turned fashion designer who has been creating her artistic masterpieces for roughly a decade now. Her work illustrations are mainly in the fields of glamour, bridal, and couture designs, and have included celebrities such as Naomi Campbell, Winnie Harlow, Maria Borges, Eva Marcille, and more.

The creative fashionista has even received reposts from brands and social media celebrities such as Amra Olević Reyes, Eva Marcille, and even Moschino.

However, 2021 paves the way for a new journey for the talented Ghanaian illustrator as she embarks on her road as a fashion designer with her self-titled fashion brand ‘Ara Wilson’. Garnering her inspiration from her glamourous illustrations and traveling experience and interest in architecture, she the designer has produced her own ready to wear collection titled ‘REBIRTH II’

An Artists At Work

The careful selection of fabrics and the use of its colors, the boundless seems, and the overall contemporary bohemian influence makes the outfits a definite must-have. The collection was shot by Ghanaian photographer Josh Sisly, and modelled by Naa Morkor Commodore.
