**Miss South Africa Trolls Get Trolled After European Victory at Last Night’s Pageant**

In a dramatic turn of events, the Miss South Africa 2024 pageant, held last night at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria, ended in humiliation for those who had relentlessly harassed contestant Chidimma. After a barrage of online trolling aimed at forcing Chidimma, a Black contestant, out of the competition, the final blow came when the crown was won by Mia le Roux, a European contestant. The trolls, who do not represent the majority of South Africans, were left red-faced as their efforts backfired spectacularly.

The fallout was immediate, with Africans across the continent, including many South Africans, mocking the trolls for their misguided campaign. The internet erupted, with many pointing out the irony and absurdity of the situation, further embarrassing those who sabotage Chidimma’s chances.
