Cape Town Fashion Week 2023 Kicks Off! Here Is What You Are Missing

Cape Town Fashion Week kicked off yesterday beginning on 22 March 2023 and is scheduled to end on 25 March 2023 at Cape Town International Convention Centre with fashion, retail, art, music, and tech. The organizers promise the event to be a show-stopping experience where fashion goes beyond the catwalk.

Organizers of Cape Town Fashion Week, Africa Fashion International (AFI) are celebrating 15 years of Africa’s creative trendsetters, anchoring efforts on breaking barriers and bridging cultural and economic gaps for the continent.

They will be doing this by blending sustainably produced fashion, art, music, design, tech, and culture, this year’s AFI event is emphasizing its commitment to a sustainable future.

In addition, there will be an AFI masterclass that dives into topics such as ethics, diversity, sustainability, and global citizenship to learn more about building a conscious and inclusive fashion landscape.

Some of South Africa’s best music talents will hit the center stage alongside the showcasing designers. DJ Zinhle, Young Stunna, and dynamic duo, DJ Maphorisa, and Kabza de Small, otherwise known as the Scorpion Kings are set to blow audiences away with performances that celebrate fashion and Pan-Africanism.
