PICS: Davido & Da Baby’s Upcoming Hit ‘SHOWTIME’ Promises To Expose African Fashion Black Panther Style

Davido formally known as David Adedeji Adeleke, has always been one to proudly spread African culture and promote the aesthetics of the continent where ever he can. The Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer whose music is popularly known to blend traditional African elements with global mainstream pop is set to take African culture to another fan base.

In an upcoming video for a song titled ‘SHOWTIME’ featuring DaBaby, early visuals prove the song is set to be a grand expose of African fashion and couture. The wider world was heavily astonished by the African fashion that was exposed in the Black Panther movie.

Davido is not letting the opportunity to further push African fashion to the wider world. In most cases, the artist is usually spotted in GUCCI and D&G which we have criticized him for on many occasions. But it seems he is set to write his song in what’s to come.

The ‘STAND STRONG’ hitmaker took to his Instagram to give the world an insight of the upcoming style set to be exhibited in the ‘SHOWTIME’ video soon to drop on a tv screen near you, with the caption ‘African Excellence’.

But the royal end of Africa is not only what to expect in the Showtime video, Davido also takes Dababy to the streets of Lagos. The two caused quite a stir on the streets of Lagos, as they both shot a music video and visited some fun spots in the city.

Excited by the reception he got from Nigerians upon arriving in the country, Dababy posted a video on his Instagram page with the caption, “First three hours in Nigeria.”
