It’s been a while since we captured any activities by singer and social media personality Deborah Vanessa. The former Ghanaian designer has been fairly quiet since her spat with anti-LGBTQ Ghanaian MP Sam George as she stood in defence of the diverse fetish and sexual preference.

However, she made a splash back on our radar when she published her involvement on Alhassan Toure’s latest fashion show during New York Fashion Week S/S2022. Deborah Vanessa took to a street show in a bustier skater skirt outfit with Angelina print details. Her walk was onpoint and she definitely brought our attention to the US Based Ghanaian Designer.

Who Is Alhassan Toure

Alhassan Toure is a fashion designer and the founder of Toure Designs. Born to Malian parents, the creative CEO grew up in Ghana and now resides in NYC. His designs are inspired by American Hip Hop culture with a touch of African roots. His creativity extends to merging African print fabrics with leather and more accessories to create a dynamic splash of urban cultured fashion.
