Moduga which stands for the Models Union of Ghana is a proud member of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture. The origanzation was formed roughly 3 years ago with the aim to protect model’s rights in Ghana, where exploitation of their services in rampant, by bringing various key industry members into one forum.

The Ghana Modelling Industry & Heroes Awards is one of the first official public event launched by the group putting some of Ghana’s best talents on the roaster of which has caused much tension in Ghana as to who deserves what.

Although it is the maiden edition, much is expected from the event as Moduga has been through a lot of challenges in it’s formation. The Ghana Modeling Industry awards is set and the euphoria around this event shows how people are anxiously waiting to grace it.

The event which is aimed at celebrating and projecting Ghanaian models have seen its award scheme effective and running. Organisers of this event have also assured that there is going to be transparency in all the categories so as to ensure the right person is rewarded for his hardwork.

The official Plaque of The Ghana Modeling Industry Awards(GMIA) was unveiled on online today 21st November, 2018. However the unveiling ceremony will take place on the 8th of December at Showbar GHANA, during the Nominees and VIP Party. See it below with the theme song sung by Noella Wiyaala in the background.
