Share FacebookTwitterPinterestLinkedinWhatsappTelegramEmail 241 Despite canceling the pre-fashion show set to take place on friday night (02.05.2014), the two-day Fashion Bazaar fair was great and hosted at Astro Park in Dzorwulu on the 3rd & 4th May 2014. The fair was filled with stalls but unlike the usual fashion fairs in Ghana, these were not individual designers or designer labels, instead boutiques from across the whole of Ghana. The event was filled with clothes on sale as well as various discounts, fun photoshoots, and much networking. Although the park was very spacious, what was definite was the visitors were definitely the buying type. Although the event created a link between boutique-client relationships, it was evident that it was a missed networking opportunity between the broken designer-boutique link in Ghana. Hopefully, designers will take advantage of this in the next year and network themselves with boutiques instead of remaining in their corner stores that are hard to find.
