William Adoasi, the founder of the elegant watches and accessories company, Vitae London is celebrating this company making more than $900K in revenue.

This is getting him ever closer to making his first $1 million in revenue.

The London based company deals in its own branded watches and accessories and the proceeds are being used to support education in Ghana and other African countries.

William, who is excited that his company is on the road to making its first $1 million in revenue took to Twitter to share the news and encourage others by sharing 5 lessons he has picked up since he started the company.

1) Don’t be afraid to own your narrative.

Be bold in who you are and what you’ve had to overcome to build your business – customers are humans too and can relate to your story more than your concept.

3) Keep iterating

Never be content with the product you’ve built, allow feedback from your customers to inform what you’re doing next and have vision to create what they want before they even ask.

All it does is produce procrastination, do the best with what you have and build from there.

William talked about knowing one’s weakness, relying on data for decisions among others.
