Meena’s Releases “Muted Ways” Collection Featuring MBGN Tourism Chinyere Adogu

For the latest collection from Nigerian fashion label Meena, titled “Muted Ways“, Chinyere Nigeria’s Miss Tourism 2014 rocks structured lines that is a favourite of the fashion brand. The collection, created by designer Uju Offiah, has a strong architectonic undertone, with multiple paneling, sophisticated cuts and layering, and tells a story of understated elegance and confidence which showcases the new dimension for the Meena brand. This collection was first debuted at the 2014 GTBank Lagos Fashion & Design Week to much praise.

 

Muted Ways champions a colour palette that speaks strength and structure such as navy green and blue, purple, orange and more. There are also neutral and metallic colours that balance the pieces aesthetics. These colours bring to life the variety of crepes, embossed jacquard, laser cut leather and laces used to bring the silhouettes to life.
