As the creative director of Twelve19Styles, he is not just designing clothes—he is shaping a movement that blends elegance, culture, and purpose. “I started my journey as a compéré, and what made me stand out was my dressing,” he shares. “People would constantly ask me about my outfits, and that’s when I realized the power of style.” This passion for impeccable dressing led him to start as a fashion blogger, dedicated to helping men elevate their wardrobes and understand the art of styling. Prepares For Big Rhythms On Da Runway Launch Promising A 100% Gh Fashion On The Runway The Philosophy Behind Dressing Well For him, dressing well is more than just aesthetics—it’s a tool for success. “I believe dressing well is an integral part of success. How you present yourself speaks volumes before you even say a word.” With this belief, he embarked on a 21-day writing challenge in August 2022, where he consistently shared insights into men’s fashion. Little did he know, this challenge would propel his career and pave the way for his fashion brand. Twelve19Styles: A Brand with Purpose As the creative director of Twelve19Styles, he has launched three stunning collections: Elegance, Baale, and Ìtura. “Each collection tells a story,” he explains. “Elegance embodies sophistication, Baale reflects leadership and strength, and Ìtura was inspired by light—how it guides us, just like fashion does.” His work has not gone unnoticed. Twelve19Styles has been featured at global fashion festivals, including Accra Fashion Week in Ghana, MAWS London, and African Fashion Week London, where it even caught the attention of BBC. But for him, the impact goes beyond the runway. “The Ìtura collection was special to me,” he reveals. “It was used to raise funds for kidney patients in Nigeria after I lost my mum to kidney failure. That collection was about giving back.” Elevating Style and Mental Well-being Beyond fashion, he is also the founder of the Elevate Your Style movement in the UK. “It’s a space for influencers, content creators, and fashion enthusiasts to come together—not just to talk about fashion but to support each other in our journeys, especially with mental health,” he says. This movement has grown into a community that bridges style and well-being. https://www.fashionghana.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Michael-Okunloro-twelve19styles.mp4 In addition to his work in fashion, he hosts the podcast Threads and Profits, where he tells the stories of fashion entrepreneurs. “It’s about sharing experiences, challenges, and victories. There’s so much more to fashion than what meets the eye.” A Menswear Revolution in Motion From fashion blogging to crafting exquisite tailored suits, he is not just a designer—he is a storyteller, an advocate, and a changemaker. As he continues to push the menswear revolution forward, his message remains clear: style is power, and with the right suit, every man can step into his greatness. Follow him here.
