The #BeyonceDropChallenge is a social media challenge that sees the odd person in any normal situation drop everything they’re doing to drop down in their heel right after Beyonce screams ‘Give Me Some’ on her Give me some new song. And this is just what we witnessed at the closing of Fashion Connect Africa 2021. The event which was highly anticipated in December 2021, faced covid challenges forcing the organiser aAward-winninging model Victoria Michaels to postpone the show to March 19th & 20th. Amongst many renowned designers like Broots, Jay Ray, Bri Wiredua,h and more, was an introduction to a fashion brand that took the stage by storm and shut the whole show down. Last to appear on the runway was a new brand that goes by the name MMH, which are acronyms for the term Me, Myself ,and Him. MMH was founded by Dr .Michelle McKinney Hammond. According to her, she has been a designer for quite a while in her head, but this year she decided to take the leap of faith to present her first collection titled ‘Unconstructed’.
