Anyone who follows our blog will know we have a bone to pick with Lupita as she has never rocked an African fashion brand on the red carpet. However, Kudos to her for this fabulous styled fro she took to the Met Gala with Afro combs in it.

And no,it wasn’t just any fro, but instead the ones with the fist. Did someone say ‘Power to the People’.

And then just when you thought it was the end of your afrocentricity, Ciara topped it off with a mountain of curls. In fact, this could probably the first time we have seen Ciara without straight hair. Could the two of them set off a trend? Let’s see!
