Popular Liberian Model Recreates Famous Kendall Jenner, Kate Moss And Gig Hadid Campaigns To Expose Racism

American based Liberian model Deddeh Howard created a series of images with the campaign name ‘Black Mirror’ which aims to bring attention to the lack of diversity. The images were created with photographer Raffael Dickreuter and some of the campaigns recreated were by Gucci, Victoria’s Sercret and more.

 

Deddeh Howard, who grew up in Liberia and now lives in Los Angeles, didn’t have an easy start when she tried to break into the modeling business. Several agencies told her ‘thanks but no thanks’, explaining that they already had enough black models on their rosters.

Many of those who read our articles relative to racism would know usually most times we have conflicting views on what the usual public outcry maybe. So to skip over the topic, we actually think these pictures are beautiful and simply sharing it for that matter.
