Unfortunately, this year’s independence celebration was distracted by the poor performance of the Ghanaian president as well as the government attacking its own citizens namely, residents of Ashaiman with brutal methods to avenge the murder of a soldier. With that said, we hope the government can reconcile and if not be sued to human rights abuse.

With that said, it won’t be hard not to have recognized the outfit donned by the 2nd lady of the republic of Ghana, Samira Bawumia, whose fashion choices have become a traditional attribute of this day.

Samira Bawumia’s fashion sense is widely known as elegant, sophisticated, and modern while still staying true to traditional Ghanaian fashion. She often wears outfits made by Ghanaian designers, which showcase the rich and diverse cultural heritage of the country.
