2/ THE CONCEPT AFRICAN FASHION IS NOT REALLY USED IN AFRICA

Americans don’t say I am wearing American clothes, they are more specific. British don’t say I am wearing European clothing. Alternatively they might say French, Russian or so forth, but not European. Just as we don’t say African necklace when you are in the market, because it’s all African. You might say Kenyan necklace, or South African Hats, Ivorien designers, or Nigerian Geles, but never African tops or so forth. So when one searches for the concept of African fashion on google, you will be bombarded by websites outside of Africa (Except for FashionGHANA, because we were aware of that). Which means that most fashion journalism in Africa, and there are some good ones, are missed on the searches of those seeking to know about fashion and trends in Africa.
