VIKTOR & ROLF going viral for their SS15 african print inspired collection in media that will forever ignore collections from Africa. Don’t get me wrong, not to discredit these talented entities, but it’s just some misappropriation of the concept of African fashion centred around racism that get’s published regularly. Although subtle racism may be one of the least on this list, however one can only ponder on how many features have been excluded due to it. That we can never measure.
