Accra Fashion Week Makes Another Historical Landmark As Ghana’s First Event To Surpass 5million Organic Views On Youtube

The event that took Ghana by storm in 2016 occupying days of our lives with nothing but hot runways shows has just broken the record as the most viewed event in Ghanaian history to date on youtube.

In 2016, Accra Fashion Week celebrated its 5th year hosting 8 shows within that period refusing to be phased by the Covid-19 era.

Accra Fashion Week has executed many landmarks in the history of African fashion. To date, it is the only event outside of politics to host 30 nations during a show. The first fashion week to host an online store making the runway clothes accessible to its followers.

The event was also the first to organize a successful virtual fashion week online when the Covid Pandemic hit Ghana in the year 2020.

And to date it is the only fashion week to create and patronize fashion seasons dear to the Ghanaian nation which are the Chilly/Rainy season and the Summer/Harmattan season.

This year, the event has struck another historical landmark not only in the sphere of African fashion but all Ghana events as a whole, by being the most watched youtube event in the nation surpassing 5 million view.
