PICS: Sudanese Beauty Adut Akech Breaths Life Into Versace In Her 1st 2021 Campaign

Adut Akech Bior is a South Sudanese-Australian model. Akech made her fashion week runway debut as an exclusive in the Saint Laurent S/S 17 show and went on to close both their F/W 17 and S/S 18 shows as an exclusive.

Akech was introduced to the fashion industry by her family, and despite getting scouted multiple times by local modeling agencies when she was 13 and 14 years old, she started her modeling career at 16 years old.

She then signed to her mother agency, Chadwick Models, in Sydney, Australia. Within the fashion industry, she prefers her birth name, Adut.

Her career took off when she was spotted by Naomi Campbell who then elevated her career as you can read below.

Adut Rose From The Ashes

Adut, who was a refugee before moving to Australia has always cherished her experience and before the age of 20 she even bought her mum a house. Most will recall she recently got married to Nigerian singer RunTown.

It seems the marriage is what climax the media and news coverage of the superstar for 2020 in a very drastic year. Well, 2021 holds more brightness and positivity and it seems like Italian brand Versace just got lucky and struck a deal with Adut.

Adut Akech Polishes Up Italia’s Versace

Versace is an Italian luxury fashion company and trade name founded by Gianni Versace in 1978. The main collection of the brand is Versace, which produces upmarket Italian-made ready-to-wear and leather accessories.

Although it seems with the cultural dynamic and changes what would once be seen as luxury is technically the urban youths with style.

Versace has not wasted any second to capture this market by modifying it’s marketing campaigns to be more exclusive of black models, being a tad bit smarter than its odd racist peers.
