Ghana’s AFROMA Awards Retracts 2016 Nominees List & Extends Nomination Deadlines

The Afromaa awards has recently retracted the nominations list only two days after publicizing it. The Afromaa awards which is set to see it’s 2nd edition executed this year face some criticism on social media after the nominations list was released.

 

This involved typing errors, misnaming as well as public disagreements. However, the organization announced that the list had been released ahead of the committees approval and that it shouldn’t have been so.

The rectification and apology letter as seen below stated “We do take full responsibility of this error and fully apologies for the inconvenience we may have caused. We therefore urge to keep calm and be informed that the official list will be released on the Afromaa website”

The organization has also further delayed the nominations process until the 17th of September. See the full letter in the image below.
