We do not have the full details but the news is Awa Sanoko didn’t make the top 15 of Elite Model Look. hums emerged from a shocked crowd when Awa Sanokos’s name was not mentioned. Nicholas Mayowa from Nigeria reached the top 15 finals. Our coverage of this competition is over at this point. Just to remind you as we have done in every post about the event, ever since its beginnings in 1983, the competition has never seen one black model or a nonwhite model take home the title. Which is a necessary consideration for the franchisers who pay to promote such brands. For Awa not reaching the finals, there is a popular saying, ‘Nip It In The Bud’. But for the most part, congratulations to Nicholas Mayowa from Nigeria, whom is signed to Beth Models. We look forward to seeing more from her in Nigeria and hopefully a profile coming soon. awaelite model lookfashionmodelsNicholasNicholas Mayowanigeriasanakosanoko Share FacebookTwitterPinterestLinkedinWhatsappTelegramEmail Nana Tamakloe Founder of FashionGHANA.com and Accra Fashion Week. If you have what it takes to be an international model they will sign you up right away and get you working .It doesn’t matter your skin colour. I did not win any competition when I was in Ghana. I very well remember i auditioned for model of the universe Ghana 2003 and I was not part of the models they selected (i was pissed but never gave up) but still worked as a model in Ghana and worked my way up .Elite agency signed me up on the spot and i have been for them as a model for 7years. Your own people can say no to you. It doesn’t matter the skin colour. Also they should pick the right models for competitions like this. If you have what it takes to be a model and you believe in yourself never give up. The sky is the limit keep trying and forget about wining titles. I met one elite model look Nigeria winner in London and she was auditioning just like everyone else and i booked more jobs than she did even with her title. I’ve walked the runway with some of the best known supermodels and also top designers.I did not win any competition but i am proud to say i did it all by myself. Pick the right judges to get the right girls out there. GHANA GIRLS CAN MAKE IT TOO. Comments are closed.
