The victory saw Angel Reese vilified by various people for trash-talking members of the opposition. A very normal act in sports. What made her vilification even more controversial is everything she did to her opponents, namely speaking to another basketballer by the name of Caitlin Clark, the competition has seen Caitlin do the exact same trash talk to other teams and basketballers. In fact, Caitlin received a whole segment from the sports broadcasting channel ESNP on how amazing her trash-talking charisma added to the game. On the other hand, Angel remained vilified after she did a similar thing. The racial bias reaction of the public went viral making this year’s game even more popular and spectacular. The LSU eventually won making Angel Reese an iconic winning player for 2023 whilst an enemy to some spectators of the sports who felt she didn’t show sportsmanship. LSU Rejected The White House Invite Despite the team winning, it seems LSU star Angel Reese and her teammates likely aren’t visiting the White House anytime soon, and here is why. Jill Biden took to the press core to announce the invite, but after announcing her invite for the LSU players she did the unthinkable and said “I know we will have the champions come to the white house like we always do, So we will have LSU come, but I’m gonna tell Joe, I think Iowa should come to because the played such a good game!” Jill Biden Apologized But No Luck The comment came as a shock to many to which Angel Reese tweeted ‘A Joke’. Jill Biden attempted to apologize and claimed it was a joke but that fell on deaf ears. Reese will soon later sit with the youtube channel ‘I AM ATHLETE’ and spill the means. Reese spoke candidly about Dr. Jill Biden’s prior suggestion to invite both LSU and Iowa to the White House, despite the losing team having never been invited in the past. “If we were to lose, we would not be getting invited to the White House,” Reese said on the I Am Athlete podcast. Reese vs Jill “I remember [Biden] made a comment about, both teams should be invited because of sportsmanship, and I’m like, ‘Are you saying because of what I did?'” Reese added, referencing her taunt to Iowa’s Caitlin Clark, which sparked a slew of online criticism toward the LSU star. Reese said “stuff like that,” referring to the first lady’s idea, “bothers” her because she’d expect her to be more supportive of the women’s tournament champions. “It bothers me because you’re a woman at the end of the day, and you’re supposed to be standing behind us before anything,” said Reese. “So, it’s hard to see things like that and not comment back on it.” No Turning Back For Jill Biden The LSU star revealed that “a lot of phone calls” were made regarding the team’s potential visit to the White House. “That’s why she wants to come out and apologize,” Reese explained. “But at the same time, I don’t accept it, I’m not going to lie to you. I don’t accept the apology. You said what you said.” Reese continued, “I said what I said. You can’t go back on certain things that you say.” Angel Reese rejects First Lady Jill Biden’s apology: ‘We’ll go to the Obamas’ (📹 @IAMATHLETEpod) pic.twitter.com/QlLCeJjoXF — Hot Freestyle (@HotFreestyle) April 5, 2023 Reese To Go To Obama Reese explained that if the Bidens felt like Iowa deserved the invite ” because of sportsmanship,” she’d be fine with celebrating LSU’s title win with the former president and first lady, Barack and Michelle Obama. “[Iowa] can have that spotlight. We’ll go to the Obamas,” Reese said. “I’m gonna see Michelle. I’m gonna see Barack.” Read More Like This On Outside Africa Racism UPCOMING PRIORITY EVENTS!
