Elite Model Look is the most renowned international modeling competition in the world. It is unique in providing the opportunity for young boys and girls to enter the fashion and modeling world. The final casting held in Lagos on August 2, 2014 with over 4,500 girls and guys in attendance. A total of 100 contestants were pre- selected after deliberations by the judges and the contestants were cut to the final 30 semi- finalists. During the boot camp the 30 semi-finalists would be accommodated in a house for 14 days running up to the date of the final event. During the boot camp, the selection of the contestants would be based on physical criteria, natural beauty, photogenic, body, elegance and personality, character, motivation and attitude. Only 20 contestants will proceed from the boot camp to the finals taking place on September 6, 2014 at the Eko Hotel & Suites on Victoria Island, Lagos. The list of designers who are going to showcase their pieces as well as hosting the show, holds a number of promising designers such as Agbani Darego, Okunoren Twins, Ituen Bassey and many more.
