Battered And Beaten Ivorian Model Dies In Hospital As Doctors Refused To Treat Her For Over 12 Hours

Ivory Coast aspiring model, 23-year-old Awa Fadiga, who was brutally beaten in a taxi. Her family claims she slipped into a coma after being left untreated by hospital staff for more than 12 hours because no one was there to pay her $230 medical fees.

 

Every since the removal of Laurent Gbagbo who placed Ivory Coast as one of West Africa’s leading economy, the country is spiraling down with crime, poverty and illegal activities. Hospitals are highly insecure and here is just one tragic story out of many that has sprung up.
