FashIzBlack magazine is a popular francophone magazine that has covered black fashion for almost a decade. The magazine both print and online in the past has released covers with professional models as well as celebrities such as Kelly Roland and more.

 

Recently FashIzBlack released a book of their top 150 Personalities that have influenced the course of African fashion. We got insight into a few characters which included our chief editor and owner Nana Tamakloe, Bonang Matheba, and Taibo Bacar.

The book details the activities of the various 150 personalities and the who and what to know in the fashion world, and it’s available for only 32Euros on the globalafrica150 website. The list is based on nominations across their wide spectrum of French followers as well as their own research, and the 150 names selected are those that have obtained the maximum number of votes on a set of criteria such as longevity of activity, local and / or international influence.
