African Fashion & Design Week announced for March 2013

March 6-9, 2013 see’s the widely anticipated return of the African Fashion & Design Week for its second edition to be held in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

As African fashion strives for global recognition, this bold initiative, will again aim to promote the business of fashion in Africa, nurture emerging talent and help taking local talent global by showcasing a core of Africa’s fashion and design powerhouses.

In a further exciting development, next year’s event will also see the selection of five outstanding designers during the fashion show to showcase their works at the Brooklyn Fashion Week New York, in September 2013.
