The international fashion house with its origins in the New York, USA Clavon Leonard, has made a tremendous splash on the African continent over the past few years. The brand founded by Clavon Leonard has been featured in publications such as British Vogue, Tatler, and British GQ, strongly believes the future of fashion is in Africa.

He has also dressed and styled Carla Hall of ABC’s “The Chew”, pop music’s Frankie Zulferino, and NFL star Jonathan Casillas. The designer witnessed all his hard work pay off when he left with the Best Male Fashion Brand Of The Year at the just ended Global Fashion Week on the 20th of December 2020 at the Alisa Hotel.

Although the award night and fashion event had its flaws, it was by far a well-deserved recognition of which he celebrated with his colleagues. Ever since embarking on his fashion journey in Africa, Clavon spends much of his time grooming and developing young designer talents in Africa through various programs and zoom calls. The philanthropist doesn’t only share his experience and knowledge with his students, but he also funds and sponsors their collections and participation in shows across the continent.

Clavon Leonard exhibited the first edit of his three-segment colored collection which consists of a red set, a yellow set, and a blue set. The unisex set of clothes are carefully crafted with quality fabrics and hosts a great variety of distinguished dresses and suits for both men and women.

Clavon Leonard was also part of the revolutionary virtual edition of Accra Fashion Week 2020/21 which premiered on the 12th and 13th of December. Many from around the world watch his collection exhibited at the Kwame Nkrumah National park by the Mausoleum.
