DAY 1 Accra Fashion Week | FUNDIVAS EXCLUSIVE

Probably one of the many highlights for Day 1 Accra Fashion Week was the virtual premiere presentation by one of Nigerians newest fashion house Fundivas Exclusive which had a very appealing piece of collection showcased on Saturday. Funkdivas exclusive launched officially in March 2019 and has since grown to be one of the few Nigerian fashion brands dedicated to creating a fashion legacy with astonishing designs for sophisticated women. A brand aimed at creatively understanding the taste and preferences of its clients whilst surpassing their expectations.

It had patrons held spell bound for about 11 minutes as we saw one by one all the fantastic pieces by the brand and this really looked well put together, every kind of woman could be found in this collection from a working class woman who understands what style is and wouldn’t want to go all out when it come to style but still wants to stay in-between and tick all the right boxes, I know you get what I am driving at, the young audacious woman isn’t also left out as the opening collection, that white pants, black sheer net top and safari hat is your go to style choice be it for a day or weekend look, it would probably not work for an evening look sorry ladies, but if you want to be noticed and daring enough the wine shorts an sheer see through one hand blouse is your best bet, it can confidently take you from any day event outside the work force definitely to a more relaxed evening time-out with the girls.

Every piece tells a unique story of rich creativity that abounds on the continent, we didn’t much use of color play when it came to this collection as they were more dull, but irrespective of the non-existence of colors the designer scored big with the aesthetics and patterns, so unique and very original i must confess, one of the pants and cape like dress came with a surprise hoodie and that did it for me, everyone loved the mustard Arabian gown with a gelly-fish kind of illustration and that black bubba was shimmering to the last “T”.
