Share FacebookTwitterPinterestLinkedinWhatsappTelegramEmail 637 The 4th edition of the International Fashion Week which took place this weekend in Malabo, the capital of Equatorial Guinea under the theme “Rainbow, diversity and color” was conceived as a tribute to Nelson Mandela by the organizers of Ewaiso magazine.   The event took place from September 27 to 29 at the Hotel Sofitel in Malabo, under the patronage of the First Lady, Constancia Mangue Okomo and with the support of sponsors like Egico, Asonga TV, Africa 24 and TVGE. Several shows and conferences were scheduled with a competition for young designers, which took place a few days before the fashion week, a ceremony Ewaiso Look Awards, today, and a major exhibition that will be visible tomorrow, in the rooms of the Hotel Sofitel. Also were clothes by Marta de el Río, Spanish designer, who displayed high waisted cuts. Queen Molongua, also showcased a beautiful collection that turned heads, with charming luxurious designs for the party female. And also not to forget the various designer Equatorial Guinea designers showcasing true Equatorial heritage. Ewaiso magazine, organizers of the event did not have it easy but stated “little by little, step by step with effort and difficulties in its long walk we understand that many things are achievable”.
