I was always laughed at in school that i had a walk like a girl” Ernest Osei express his childhood experience to fashion Ghana.

“Childhood was all about the Ashanti region Kumasi because that where I was born, grew up and had my education . I attend kings international school where I had both my basic and high school education. After which I enroll in a journalism school where I worked in radio station for some time.

I was then introduced into fashion by a friend who prompted me about an up coming casting held by the Exopa Modeling Agency in Kumasi which I part took and fortunately was picked after the casting which lead to the beginning of my fashion life.

“My first show as a professional model was at Berlin fashion night during the summer fashion week in Berlin Germany and ever since then have being on the runway.” Due to this, Fashion Ghana wanted to know what keeps Ernest on the runway and this what he said “the fact that i can sail with my body and walk”

Ernest Osei, now called Ernest Look in the fashion industry is known for his unisex fashion abilities such as his charisma, cat walking credibility, changing into different personalities and above all the use of heels on the runway told fashion Ghana the genesis of his usage of heels.

“Well when i started modeling training, the ladies were like I (Ernest) don’t wear heels so i did not know how it feels like to walk in them as an excuse, I got myself heels and told them now no one has to complain cause I am in them too”

  

Ernest look also a catwalk trainer by profession expressed his concern abfashion industry in Ghana. He made mention of lack of education and creativity to fashion Ghana and this what he has to say.
”Sometimes we think we know but we don’t know and at the end of the day we end up always copying others which we end up with wrong copy. mmmhh what i will change about the industry is making it more of a business place but not a party event. We have a lot potential designers here in Ghana and I enjoy working with them”

He acknowledged the Ghanaian fashion industry for gradually improving and also suggested the establishment of a committee to stir the affairs of the industry if we want to compare ourselves to the fashion world Europe.
Talking to fashionGhana.com about his future plans for the Ghanaian fashion industry Ernest look intends to invest in other areas of work not just fashion which Ghanaian should expect. He decided to get it undisclosed as he stated ”All is in the pipe line u will get to know about it”
