Incase you are a traveller or an online fashion follower, Fashion week season did not end with Accra Fashion Week, here are some more interesting fashion ceremonies set to take place in the harmattan season before 2018 appears.

SA Fashion Week A/W 2018

SA Fashion Week is committed to expanding their institutional capacity to maximise the potential of their local fashion design industry through:

• providing a marketing platform based on established international best practise;
• facilitating the transfer of industry experience, skills and know-how;
• enabling partnerships that will allow micro fashion designer businesses to leverage the export infrastructure of the larger textile and clothing manufacturers
• encouraging the raising of local design output to match international standards

Lagos Fashion & Design Week 2017

The Heineken Lagos Fashion & Design Week team officially announced the dates for the prestigious fashion show this year.

From the 25th to the 28th of October, Lagos will host the foremost event of the Nigerian fashion industry, bringing all creatives together for 4 days of drama, excitement and inspiration.

Nairobi Fashion Week 2017

Organized by Dynamic Race, the show spotlights international established and emerging talents in fashion, with a special emphasis on African based designers. Now in its fifth year, Nairobi Fashion Week will host more than 25 brands from November 24th to 26th at the Nairobi Convention and Conference Centre, and is focused on the theme Arise. Fashion Weekend Gambia 2017

Fashion Weekend Gambia is a weekend long fashion event that takes place every first weekend of December. The event focuses on providing a platform for new and emerging designers. The two day event was first held as a three day event in December 2012 with a handful of designers and has grown tremendously over the years to host 20 designers in the last edition
