FashionFIlm: Kenya’s Gecko Productions Release a Must Watch Video “I Am I”

We love fashion shortfilms, and here is one showcasing jewelry by Kenyan brand name Gecko Productions, for both the video producers and designer.

The beauty of visual art, poetry, the female body, and original jewelry vibrates in this short fashion film featuring Kenyan jewelry brand “I am i”. The video was a collaborative project between Couture Africa magazine, Gecko Production and photographer/visual artist Tahir Carl Karmali.

I am I is about adornments role in our constant quest for individuality and defining our identity. The poem and the pieces coincide to reference the dramatic human connection to earthly elements and also allude to the materials used in the collection from designer, Ami Doshi Shah for her eponymous label, “i am i”.
