If you haven’t come across this list by now, you are either not based in Ghana, not online, or a skeleton! AvanceMedia recently published their top 50 blogs/bloggers, and by their criteria, saw fit that FashionGHANA.com be placed 6th amongst all other blogger, ahead of some of the most popular names in the country.

See the list below, and read further to see why this is a victory for African fashion.

Some odd years ago when we began FashionGHANA.com began, many asked us to expand our content and include musicians and celebrity gossip in order to stay afloat or get ahead of some of the other leading blogs in numbers.

However, we were comfortable working in our niche of African fashion which was a rare reach online (at the time we began). We further continued to make print fashion trend around the world and brought light to make events. Despite our fast growth internationally it seems Ghana had not fully recognized a machine that was in the center of their capital and making their culture trend worldwide.

However, fast forward to today, Avance Media, by their calculated criteria has revealed out blog at #6. So what does this mean? On many occasions we have been tempted to place popular gossip articles, entertainment, political or sports content on our website to capture audience but didn’t as we wanted to limit it to what we were about. Today we learn by doing with we have surpassed the interest of most blogs.

It goes to show the African fashion scene is a gold mine one the verge of surpassing all interests and in many cases businesses in Africa, be it local or international, and we will keep pushing until that reflects our economy also.
