This month is nothing but a full testimony to show the infatuation Ghanaians had for the ruffle hemmed asymmetric skirts. The look sees a skirt high at one end and lowers at the other, with a ruffle or gathered fabric flowing below.

It seems almost every celebrity went through this phase at some point and designers also ensured the trend remained in one or more of their pieces.

Ghana has recently been experiencing many fashion trends and so has the wider world of African fashion as a whole. This may seem to have been a short-lived trend, however, depending on new designs and alterations it could live longer.
