It was a moment for the style and fashion community when it was announced that top Style influencer Eyram at @Its_Eyram had delivered her baby and held a christening for the young boy on S……. gone. For many that don’t know, Eyram is one of Ghana’s leading style influencers, born, bred, and based in Ghana to be specific.

These are just a handful of articles published on behalf of the style influencer. To think this will be a moment of rejoicing that we are have been granted the opportunity to witness her baby’s christening, there is a controversy that has somewhat emerged from the entertainment community that has followed her baby’s father thoroughly.

Apparently, her husband Aaron Aditsi Cyril is an Abstinence ‘Ambassador’, meaning he believes in ‘no sex before marriage’. Not only does he believe in it, but he is an advocate for it by being an ambassador. His role as being an ambassador for no sex before marriage has enabled him to strike various brands and paid roles in the name of his abstinence. The only problem here is he is delivering a baby with Eyram out of wedlock, meaning they are not married to each other.

The hypocrisy of the act has unleashed a tremendous barrage of criticism and backlash towards the couple and their delivery. His fans feel betrayed and the act is very much in line with preachers that preach one thing and do the other. In his long career whilst advocating for abstinence, he was enjoying the pleasure of unprotected intercourse.

Should this take away from the christening of an innocent baby boy? It definitely shouldn’t, but it should take away from the credibility of Aaron Aditse as a man who presented himself as an example to push others to live a false narrative all whilst he did the opposite.

In a very confusing press release, the birth of his baby boy, Ronny Jnr will make him better equipped in his capacity as the unofficial ambassador of Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH) to educate the youth on the need to be careful about their sexual choices. It’s a very disappointing approach towards the christening of a baby boy, being big fans of Eyram we would have loved to have stuck to an outline of what she wore, and how to manifest her style on the day, but the reality is the reality. We wish them the utmost luck.
