It seems when the ‘BLACK IS KING’ movie drops fashion blogs are going to go into another style frenzy like our flash backs of Beyonce’s ‘Formation’ song and the Black Panther movie. We can anticipate a list of brands and their creative input into the production of Beyonce’s BLACK IS KING movie.

The upcoming BLACK IS KING film and visual album directed is written and executive produced by American singer Beyoncé herself. The film serves as a visual companion to the 2019 album The Lion King: The Gift, a tie-in album curated by Beyoncé for the 2019 remake of The Lion King, and it is set to be released on July 31.

She is an Ivorian American fashion designer raised between Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire and Silver Spring, Maryland. At age 13 she found interest in fashion while designing for her mother her aunts and her own school uniforms. Her designs can easily be identified as native African funk (according to us).
