The 2015 edition of All Things Ankara Ball is the first ever official inaugural All Things Ankara Ball and it will celebrate Nigeria’s 55th Independence. “Classic Man” Jidenna honored as a Nigerian Renaissance Man at All Things Ankara Ball 2015.

 

All Things Ankara Ball 2015 is Set to take place , Saturday, October 17th, 2015 from 9p-2a at Adele H. Stamp Student Union Grand Ballroom at The University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland.

All Things Ankara Ball 2015 Theme is: Nigerian Renaissance. the theme (Nigerian Renaissance) is to display, expose & educate, the public and the world to the rich culture of Nigerian Renaissance men and women though illuminating Ankara Print Fashion and vibrant craftsmanship.“

This Features Jidenna the classical music Sensation known for his hit track CLASSICMAN along side Jessica Chibueze a Nigerian-American Model who is also involved in charitable initiative.

Jidenna and Jessica will be honored as Nigerian Renaissance Ambassadors at All Things Ankara Ball 2015, where awards will be given out in honor of Nigerian Renaissance Men and Women excelling in the Nigerian and African Community at large.

All Things Ankara Ball 2015 Ambassadors are: Jessica Chibueze & Jidenna 

Jessica Chibueze is a Nigerian-American Model & International Philanthropist. Jessica partakes in medical mission trips to provide hygiene education to young children in rural regions of Uganda. Jessica uses modeling as a means to fund her program, create buzz and to spread the awareness of her philanthropic initiatives. She is also a recent graduate of George Mason University obtaining a degree in International Studies with minors in Non-Profit Studies and Public Health.

Jidenna is a Nigerian-American recording artist and producer signed to Janelle Monáe’s Wondaland Record Label. Jidenna currently has two chart topping singles, “Classic Man” ft. Roman GianArthur  & “Yoga” with Janelle Monáe. “Classic Man” has been on the Billboard Hot 100 for 20 weeks with a 22 peak position. The song reached #1 on the official rhythmic radio airplay charts and is also certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Jessica and Jidenna will be honored as Nigerian Renaissance Ambassadors at All Things Ankara Ball 2015 . We will also honor other Nigerian Renaissance men and women, for Excelling  in the Nigerian and Africa Community at Large. In the categories of: Beauty, Entertainment, Fashion, Humanitarian, Media, & Music.
