Gambia is set to experience a pageant/model competition mid 2017. The face of Beauty Gambia is an annual beauty pageant aimed at empowering young girls to celebrate their unique talents, potentials and beauty. It is about time that the fashion industry in The Gambia is boosted thereby giving young women the opportunity to uplift themselves with a high sense of confidence in the world of fashion and modelling. We are focused on celebrating the whole woman, mind, body and spirit thereby uplifting young women by holding an annual pageant to showcase and celebrate their talents, beauty and intellect.

 

The beauty pageant is taking place on the 6 th May 2017 at the Kairaba Beach Hotel. The Face of Beauty Gambia is here to redefine what it means to be a courageous, compassionate and confident young woman in the Gambia. The founder of the Face of Beauty Gambia is Mrs. Ida Bidwell Mansaray. She is the founder and CEO of Biddy’s promotion and a well-known public figure in The Gambia. Ida is a renowned mogul in the fashion industry who is an ardent advocate for women’s empowerment.
