Is The New Clown Contour Makeup The New Ish?

I woke up one day and my Instagram feed was filled with clown contour tutorials, I kept replaying the video because it was different and confusing at the same time. Since that day I have been seeing snaps of it from some  makeup gurus. The process which involves extreme colour correct, highlighting and contouring looks difficult to me.

Personally, I think this kind of makeup should be left to the pros because I can’t ever imagining myself spending that much time drawing circles, triangles and shapes with blushes, concealers etc.

 

 

This makeup craze started few weeks ago when a pro makeup artist Esther Isabel Amado aka BellaDeLune on youtube, painted her facebto resmble a clown and then blended it out perefectly. It didn’t seem possible at first that so much makeup could trsnsform imto something beautiful but it really did. Since that day the intetnet hashtag #clowncontouring was born.

Makeup can be transformative but I think one can only try this when they have 3 hours to spend and lots of makeup lying around just for Instagram views and likes.
