K.O.D Strikes Back With A New Date & Designers For ‘Rhythmz On Da Runway’ Fashion Show

Rythymz On The Runway sets it’s date after being postponed a since December. The event put together by radio and tv personality now turned fashion designer Kofi Okyere Darko in 2013 will see it’s 3 installment on the 1st of April 2017. The event now has also been shortlisted as part of the Ghana’s Independence day celebrations, the event happened on the 31st of March,2012 and was graced by a cross section of the designers’ clientele, from senior politicians to ace politicians, renowned fashion industry gurus and celebrities .

 

Five years ahead, KOD and his creative team are looking to wow us again with an exquisite show scheduled for the 1st of April at the State Banquet hall,Accra.

“We are looking forward to the biggest one,to climax the celebrations on the 1st of April. Rhythmz on the runway is back and this is the best time to actually have the event as we have always had it around our Independence day. We are bringing together amazing fashion designers from Ghana and beyond, we are bringing the very best of music from Ghana and beyond as well. Musicians from Zimbabwe,Kenya ,Nigeria and south Africa are coming to grace Rhythms on the runway. Its on the 1st of April at the State Banquet Hall,so spread word and get ready. The big one is coming and we are just coming to do something amazing as we celebrate Ghana @60″…KOD mused on his instagram page.

Confirmed to be showcasing and performing at the event is Ghana’s VElma Owusu Bempah, owner of a luxury accessory and millinery brand, Pan-African pop star. Habida from Kenya globally recognized rapper Sarkodie and Cina Soul. if the event is anything like its predecessors, the hall is definitely going to be buzzing with celebrities.
