African Fashion Just Got More Exciting As Katiti Seychelles Fashion Week 2023 Publishes Dates

The upcoming Katiti Seychelles Fashion Week Show is set to rock the island nation; Buffet & Fashion Show, organized by Katti Seychelles & Katiti Modeling agency, will feature African & local fashion designers showcasing their one-of-a-kind pieces.

The fashion week is set to take place in Mid August on the weekend of the 21st – 23rd, and the casting call and designer registration deadline is scheduled for the 10th of May 2023.

The event is brought to you by the Katiti fashion brand and modeling agency, in association with FashionGHANA.com, the National Arts and Crafts Council of Seychelles, the Enterprise Seychelles Agency, and the Ministry of Tourism. The show will be held at Eden Blue.

Katiti was founded by Johanna Didon who has been an iconic figure in pushing and developing the fashion scene on Seychelles Island for some years. The amazing designer has also showcased twice on Accra Fashion Week, first in 2018 Chilly/Rainy, and also in 2022.

Seychelles is an archipelago of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean, off East Africa. It’s home to numerous beaches, coral reefs, and nature reserves, as well as rare animals such as giant Aldabra tortoises.

The beautiful African island is also heavily dominated by wealthy tourists also making it a great location for fancy tourism experiences and definitely for cloth selling. Hence why the new fashion week Katiti Seychelles Fashion Week was heavily supported.

The first edition of the Katiti Seychelles Fashion Week was held at the Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Resort. The night was graced by designers from Uganda, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Cameroon, Ethiopia and many more.
