Will Smith’s slap at Chris Rock definitely distracted all of us from what we were doing to realize the Oscars existed. The washed-up film Academy awards are on the brink of being an unknown and unpopular entity, all due to the history of racism.

However, they managed to remain in the limelight every year based on some controversial issues relating to black people. First, it was the outcry for not diversifying their awards which they played on, then Will & Jada Smith’s boycott, then Kevin Hart’s removal from hosting, and today it’s Will Smith’s slap.

But as it has the attention now, let’s look at something golden that we didn’t notice due to the overwhelming press regarding the slap, and that is Kelly Rowland’s gorgeous dress.

There was a lot of controversy surrounding how Kelly Rowland was overshadowed by Beyonce whilst in Destiny’s Child, but after all these years since the group broke up, maybe Kelly just isn’t too swift with breaking out of her shell and staying in the limelight. It can be very puzzling why the ‘Here I Am’ hitmaker isn’t in the press every day with her astonishing beauty, pleasant character, great music, and fabulous sense of style.

Nevertheless, the former band member strutted down the red carpet and onto her seat in a stunning see-through/sheer bodycon striped fishtail dress with a cape. She was probably our most gorgeous pick of the night, then again we haven’t scoped others on the night. See Kelly Rowland rock below.
